This water hole is located in the extreme corner of Borupan Pitiya. The road from Borupan Wila towards Mallimadu and back to Maradanmaduwa, which is currently not in a usable condition, begins from this water hole.
The proximity of this water hole to the forest edge attracts many animals to this water hole during the dry season. I have seen Barking Deer, Sloth Bear, Sambar and Spotted Deer regularly at this water hole. It is a favourite water hole for many species of birds as well. Green Pigeons, Doves, Bul Buls, Brown-headed Barbets and Black-naped Monarchs will continuously visit this water hole during the dry months. Leopards visit this water hole as well. At least one pair of Common Kingfishers is resident at this water hole. I have also photographed the endemic Lowland Kangaroo Lizard Otocryptis nigristigma on the banks of this water hole.
Borupan Wila Female 1 (BWF1), Borupan Wila Male 1 (BWMC 1), Kumbuk Wila Female 1 (KWFC 1) and Borupan Wila Male 2 (BWMC 2) have been seen at this waterhole.
