This site is situated in close proximity to Kali Villu. Even tough it is popularly known as Kuveni’s palace, the archeologists who examined the rows of stone pillars, stupa mounds and the bricks in the area have confirmed that the ruins are in fact are of an ancient monastery. Having examined and photographed a few other archeological sites in the park, I noticed that the surface of the rows of stone pillars found here are uneven and has a rough finish compared to the stone pillars I observed at another site at Kok Motte.
